Synopsis: This heartwarming and comedic comic book follows the daily life of Jessoo, a comic artist, after meeting his wife—who also happens to be his biggest fan—along with their three cats: Ink, Mimi, and Cool. Through humorous illustrations and everyday moments, the book highlights how happiness isn't about grand achievements but rather the small, ordinary joys of life. Without any preachy messages or self-improvement theories, it effortlessly conveys how love, companionship, and tiny daily moments make life special. A delightful and relatable read that will leave you smiling!
From the title, it might seem like a self-improvement book, but in reality, it's more of a comic with minimal narration. It's not boring at all—mostly comedy. There are no preachy statements or self-improvement theories like in most self-improvement books. Instead, their daily activities show that happiness comes from a little-trivial things in life. 😂😂
Jessoo, the author, repeatedly conveys the message that his wife has helped him see new things and made him a more "normal" person. If this were a song, it would be like Paul being head over heels for Gita (sorry for the random reference). According to Jessoo, his wife is like a captain 😁 because he relies on her a lot. The comic illustrations are super cute.
I find this book interesting and unique, with its own way of delivering the message that happiness comes from the simple things we do every day. Another thing I love is that the characters are portrayed as "human" and happy (in a lighthearted way), with occasional arguments, making them feel even more relatable.
I definitely give this book a 5/5! I even want to own a physical copy so I can read it whenever I need something fun—or when I need a reminder that happiness comes from -everyday- little things.
